Steve specializes in blending modern precision cutting and styling with classic barber techniques. He has been behind the chair for over a decade and has worked with some of the top barbers and stylists in the industry.

He is also an independent educator who focused on helping other professionals develop not only their technical skills but also their business strategy, marketing and mindset.

Sharlotte got her start barbering over 5 years ago while growing up in Bogota, Columbia.  She moved to the US in 2020, first to New Jersey before settling in Boston, MA.  She is an expert hair cutter but excels in barbering, fading and classic haircuts.

Outside of barbering Sharlotte enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, playing basketball and watching movies.  She is very friendly and enjoys talking with clients during services.  She is creative, kind, thoughtful and brings out the best in everyone around her.

The vision for Steve’s 535 was to create a space that reflects his love for music, art, creativity, and barbering. The goal was to design a chill, inviting atmosphere where people could escape the demands of daily life and feel free to relax and be themselves.

Intentionally breaking away from the traditional barbershop aesthetic, the space was crafted as an urban oasis with a minimalist, elevated design. Drawing inspiration from Japanese art and design principles, every element was thoughtfully chosen to create a functional and calming environment.

The shop also features brands and items that resonate with Steve’s personal tastes, reinforcing its authenticity. More than just a barbershop, Steve’s 535 is a place where clients can connect, unwind, and enjoy a moment of peace within a creative and welcoming setting.
